Nice UV working device out of the box! BUT HF did not work until I open the case and soldered the missing vias between the interna RTL-DVB-T stick and the mainboard. Now after soldering both antenna ranges are working UV and HF. Nice product for a good price but little solderskills are needed!

I tried this mod but the SDR would not work at all. Windows could not detect it after the mod. Removed mod and it works again on UV port. So the advertised specs are deceptive. This is a standard SDR that works only UHF and VHF signals. The HF port doesn't work. It can not receive medium wave radio or anything below 28MHz.

SDR#ist sehr gut geeignet. Vorher mit Zadig den passenden Treiber installieren.

It is a typical RTL-SDR with the additional option to directly feed HF to the receiver (bypassing the tuner). There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. The most important bit is to use Zadig to install the driver.
