The firmware in this tester is called Mtester version 2.68. But it's a very old one and unknown by the developer, the latest version atm is the fork from Karl-Heinz Kübbeler:
TransistorTester 1.13k.

I updated the tester with the recommend firmware but there was a problem, because this one use a 16Mhz crystal.

Ok, no problem, WinAVR is my friend and i made compiled my own 16Mhz version, sourcecode is available in the www,

And now it's a great device, next i replace R1-R6 with 0,1% resistors. ;-)

Um poderoso aparelho que testa e mede muitos componentes e ainda identifica semicondutores, e mede valores de ESR muito importante para técnicos e estudantes de eletrónica. Chegou muito rápido e sem qualquer problema no transporte. Aproveitei e testei alguns componentes que tinha em cima da bancada. Veja as fotos. Um grande aparelho por um custo (preço) tão pequeno. E ainda traz uma caixa de acrílico transparente para o gabinete que aloja também a pilha Os meus parabéns á Marca GeeKcreit tem vento muitos módulos e kits muito bons. E como sempre recomendo.

Arrived very fast and without any hassle in shipping. I took advantage of and tested some components I had on top of the countertop. Look at the photos. A big appliance for such a small cost (price).
